В современном мире интеграционные объединения, созданные с целью либерализации мировой торговли и содействия экономическому развитию стран-участниц, играют все более важную роль в мировой экономике. В зависимости от внешнеэкономических и внешнеполитических приоритетов страны обозначается ее статус в интеграционных объединениях. В ходе написания данной статьи, основываясь на эмпирических и теоретических методах исследования, удалось определить разницу между видами участия стран в международных организациях, выделить основные причины получения странами статуса наблюдателя при Евразийском экономическом союзе, а также проанализировать перспективы расширения интеграционного объединения.

Integration associations in the modern world. Depending on the foreign economic and foreign policy priorities of the country, its status in the integration associations is designated. In the course of writing this article, based on empirical and theoretical research methods, it was possible to determine the difference between the types of participation of countries in international organizations, highlight the main reasons for countries to obtain observer status with the Eurasian Economic Union, and also analyze the prospects for expanding the integration association.
